1. General

  1. The online store at https://nilka.online is operated by the owner of the Nilka brand (“we”, “the Seller”). Contact: hello@nilka.online.
  2. These terms govern orders, payment, delivery, refunds and warranty. By placing an order you confirm that you are of legal age to purchase in your country and accept these terms.

2. Products and prices

  1. Nilka sells a stroller footmuff for toddlers of about 6–36 months: a quilted puffer shell with a faux-fur hood rim, a teddy lining, a two-way front zip and harness slots, and a removable heating pad in the back panel, switched on and off with one button (three levels) and powered over a USB lead from a 5 V USB power bank that sits in a zip pocket at the foot end. A power bank is not included. We do not state a temperature or a fixed heating time: how warm the footmuff feels and how long it heats depend on the power bank, the level, the weather and your child's clothing. The footmuff fits most single strollers with a 5-point harness; we do not guarantee the fit of every stroller model. Product photos are illustrative.
  2. Colours Dusty rose, Cream and Graphite. In a 2- or 3-footmuff set you choose the colour of every footmuff; the choice is shown in your order. If a colour is temporarily unavailable we contact you before shipping and you may choose another colour or cancel that footmuff for a refund.
  3. Prices are shown in the currency selected in the store and include VAT where applicable. Shipping is free on orders of 2 or more footmuffs and US$6.95 for a single footmuff. Import duties and taxes are not included (see the Shipping policy).
  4. We may change prices, start or end promotions and withdraw products; this does not affect orders already placed. The crossed-out price shows our regular reference price; for a set it is the regular price of the same number of single footmuffs.
  5. Set prices (2 or 3 footmuffs) are already reduced compared with single footmuffs and cannot be combined with other offers. We may cancel orders that abuse a promotion.

3. Orders and payment

  1. The contract is concluded when we confirm your order by e-mail. Payment is made in advance using the methods available at checkout.
  2. We may cancel an order (with a full refund) in case of an obvious pricing error, unavailability, suspected fraud or if we cannot deliver to the address given.
  3. We may limit the quantity per order and refuse or cancel any order before it ships, with a full refund.

5. Refunds and warranty

6. Safe use and liability

  1. The footmuff is for use in a stroller during walks, with an adult present. It is not for sleep in a cot or bed, not for car seats, bassinets, carriers or carrycots, and not for babies under about 6 months. Always fasten the stroller's own harness through the slots.
  2. The heating is controlled by the adult. Start on the lowest level, check on your child regularly as you would with any warm layer — touch the back of the neck — and switch to a lower level or off if your child feels warm, sweaty or flushed. Do not use the heating for a child who has a fever, who cannot move or signal discomfort, or who has a health condition affecting the skin or the sense of heat, without asking a doctor. Do not let your child play with the button, the lead or the power bank.
  3. Power the heating pad only from a 5 V USB power bank from a reputable maker placed in the foot pocket, and follow the power bank's own safety instructions; we are not responsible for power banks. Do not use the heating while the footmuff is wet, folded or packed, and do not put heavy or sharp objects on the heating pad. Never open or repair the button or the pad yourself.
  4. Take the heating pad and the power bank out before washing. Follow the care label: gentle cold wash, no bleach, no tumble dryer, no ironing, no dry cleaning; let the footmuff and the pad dry completely before using the heating again.
  5. Dress your child for the weather as usual; do not rely on the heating alone to protect your child from cold. You use the product at your own risk and responsibility. We are not liable for damage resulting from misuse or from use contrary to these terms.
  6. We are not liable for delays caused by the carrier, customs, force majeure or incorrect data supplied by the buyer.
  7. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any order is limited to the price paid for that order, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
  8. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (such as for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or product liability) or the rights consumers have under mandatory laws of their country of residence.

7. Content and reviews

All store content (texts, photos, videos, logo) belongs to the Seller and may not be copied without permission. By publishing a review, photo or comment about our products you grant us a free licence to use it in the store’s materials.

8. Final provisions

  1. We may change these terms at any time; the version published when you place your order applies to that order.
  2. If any provision of these terms is found invalid, the remaining provisions stay in force.
  3. These terms are governed by the law of the Seller’s country of establishment (an EU member state), without prejudice to the protection consumers enjoy under the mandatory law of their country of residence.
